What I’m Working On

I’m co-founding Twisp, where we’re building ledger primitives that let product teams launch financial features without rebuilding the core every time. My days revolve around shaping the platform, pairing with customers on their first transactions, and making sure the infrastructure is boring, reliable, and ready for scale.

How I Got Here

  • Twisp · 2020 – Present — Designing banking infrastructure APIs and the ledger system that powers them.
  • pnwcode · 2019 – 2021 — Guided early-stage fintechs from idea to launch with hands-on engineering leadership.
  • Even.com · 2019 — Helped end the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle by shipping wage access and budgeting tools at startup speed.
  • BBVA & Simple · 2013 – 2019 — Led the bank migration that grew Simple, launched BBVA’s Open Platform, and hardened the systems behind “Safe-to-Spend.”
  • Seamless & Earlier — Built the ordering APIs that made food delivery mainstream and shipped analytics platforms before “data” was a buzzword.

How I Work

I ship collaborative, auditable systems—from core ledgers and realtime payments to the tooling that keeps teams aligned. I’m most at home pairing with designers, product managers, and operators to untangle the regulatory and technical edges of fintech. When the path forward isn’t obvious, I sketch the architecture, build the first version, and keep iterating until the team owns it.

Let’s Talk

I’m always up for trading notes on ledgers, developer platforms, or the next wave of financial services. Drop me a line or grab a slot at calendly.com/parsnips—I’ll bring the ledger jokes.
